In addition, you may input business and transaction data such as invoices, customer and vendor details, inventory records, payments, and financial data. We may also collect certain identification-related data such as PAN details when required for compliance or verification purposes. However, we do not collect any special category personal data such as health, biometric, or sensitive personal attributes.

Distropal may fetch GST-related information using third-party GST API services based on the GSTIN provided by the user. This data is retrieved only upon user request and is used strictly for verification and compliance purposes. We do not control or guarantee the accuracy of such third-party data.

3. Technical and usage information

We automatically collect certain technical and usage information when you use our Services. This includes IP address, device information, browser type, operating system, app version, usage logs, timestamps, and diagnostic data. This information helps us maintain system performance, improve features, and ensure security.

4. Location data

Our mobile application may use location (GPS) data to support certain features. We do not access your device camera or storage. Location access is used only where necessary for functionality and can be controlled through your device settings.

5. Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies on our website to maintain sessions, enhance user experience, and analyze usage patterns. Cookies help us understand how users interact with the platform and improve performance. You can manage or disable cookies through your browser settings, but some features may not function properly.

6. How we use information

The information we collect is used for providing and maintaining the Services, managing user accounts, processing transactions, enabling GST-related features, improving system performance, resolving issues, ensuring security, and complying with legal obligations. We do not send marketing or promotional emails without explicit consent.

7. Sharing of information

We do not sell user data under any circumstances. However, we may share data with limited third parties only when necessary to provide our Services. This includes GST API providers, analytics services, and other technology partners. Such sharing is restricted to the minimum required data and only for specific purposes. We may also disclose information when required by law, regulation, or legal process.

8. Data ownership

All data entered into Distropal remains the property of the user or organization. We act only as a service provider and process data based on user instructions.

9. Security

We implement reasonable security measures to protect your information, including encryption of sensitive data such as passwords, secure authentication mechanisms, and access control systems. However, encryption may not apply to all stored data, and no system can guarantee complete security.

10. Data retention

We retain user data for as long as the account remains active and as required under applicable laws, especially for financial and GST-related records. Currently, we follow standard legal retention requirements. In the future, we may retain certain data for longer periods if required for business, operational, or legal purposes. Even after account closure, some data may be retained where necessary for compliance, dispute resolution, or enforcement.

11. Data access and deletion

Distropal allows users to access their data within the system. Data deletion is currently handled as soft deletion, meaning data may not be permanently erased immediately. Users may request access or corrections by contacting us.

12. International transfers

We do not transfer user data outside India or the European Union. All data is handled within applicable legal jurisdictions.

13. Automated profiling
